Engel in summer...

The Val Venosta with its beautiful side valleys offers our guests a variety of opportunities for your free time!
Hiking, climbing, bike or motorbike rides, horse riding, rafting, fishing or simply letting your mind wander, there is something for everyone.

Also in summer we offer our guests a nice service so that they can spend a nice holiday.

  • Guided excursions: our guide will accompany you several times on walks in the wonderful surrounding mountains.
  • On tour with a map: with our bus we leave our guests several times a week at the starting points, from which they can walk back to the hotel.
  • The upper Val Venosta is well known beyond the border as the paradise of the Alps for cyclists and motorcyclists.
  •  We offer our guests a rental and storage for their bikes. We also organize guided tours.

Surprising destinations...

  • Castles and palaces, cities and museums, picturesque villages and historical monuments. Val Venosta with its side valleys and the whole of South Tyrol have so much to offer!
  • The Erlebnishotel Engel is located in the center of this “Cultural Center of the Val Venosta” so that every destination can be reached within a day: the spa town of Merano, our Chur Castle with the largest private armory in the world, Juval Castle, one of Messner’s six museums, and much more.
